What is Destination Imagination?

Destination Imagination (DI) is a volunteer-led, educational program that teaches 21st-century skills and STEAM principles to K - 12th graders through creative and collaborative problem-solving challenges. DI is one of the many programs in our Lake Geneva Schools Gifted & Talented Education program.

DI team members work together to develop a solution to one of 7 open-ended (age-appropriate) challenges and present their solutions at tournaments. Through the Challenge program, students learn and experience the creative process from imagination to innovation, and learn skills needed to succeed in school, career, and life, including teamwork, communication, project management, perseverance, creative and critical thinking, and self-confidence.

Lake Geneva Schools has offered DI for over 30 years!

Volunteer today!

We are seeking new adult volunteers or "Team Managers" to manage 5 to 7 students. The students are in need of additional Team Managers so that everyone can be on a team. Sign up to volunteer today! Email us at Destination.Imagination@badger.k12.wi.us

DI is a program where students take what they know and what they are good at and learn to apply it to solve challenges, working together with a team and pushing the limits of imagination. Be a part of the action!

Team meetings will be held in the DI building (located across the street from LGMS) during early evening hours.
